Current State Budget (FYs 2020/2021)

On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, the Connecticut General Assembly adopted a biennial state budget for fiscal years 2020 and 2021, which was then signed into law on June 26, 2019 by Governor Ned Lamont. On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, Governor Lamont introduced his recommended budget adjustments for fiscal year 2021 for the General Assembly to consider. However, the General Assembly did not act on this recommended budget, or adopt any other revisions or modifications during the 2020 regular legislative session, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of the Capitol Complex.
